Classy Distractions
Ever found yourself signing up for a training or class...
That you didn’t plan on taking, and you didn’t know about 30 minutes ago, but now you just GOTTA watch it?
I’m naming these times Classy Distractions.
Taking an author marketing class or learning something new to avoid the real work.
I’m guilty of it too. 8 minutes ago I saw a free summit with 24 classes on list-building.
Do I want to build my list? Yes, sure!
Is spending 24 hours watching these videos the best use of my time this week? Definitely not.
Do I still have some FOMO? Yes.
This happens a lot - I run across exciting trainings but have to consciously keep myself focused and my eye on the real prize: DOING.
If any of this sounds familiar - let’s stop "learning" our way into overwhelm…
And start taking action on what we already know.
It’s easy to fall prey to Classy Distractions, but the real results come from execution.
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
